The final episode of her hit series New Girl aired this week, concluding after seven seasons.And one day after the finale, Zooey Deschanel stepped out with her two-year-old daughter Elsie.The 38-year-old actress cut a casual figure in a navy and white dress with a coordinating cardigan for her stroll in Los Angeles on Wednesday.The mother of two flashed her legs in the casual frock, which featured stripes along the hem as well as a ruched waistline.The natural beauty hit the pavement in gold and cream colored flats with a matching cross body bag and small framed sunglasses. Zooey styled her dark brunette tresses loose with a slight wave, opting to go makeup free.The TV star donned delicate earrings with a bracelet and her diamond wedding ring.Elsie donned a purple and white ensemble, including a tutu and sneakers.The TV and movie star is also mom to son Charlie Wolf, who she welcomed in May of last year.Zooey is married to producer Jacob Pechenik; the lovebirds were engaged in January 2015 and married in June of that year.The brunette beauty played the character Jessica Day on New Girl; she also served as a producer on the hit show.The comedy, which aired on Fox, also starred Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Damon Wayans Jr., Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris.New Girl premiered on September 20, 2011 and ran for seven seasons; the finale aired on May 15, 2018.Zooey recently spoke to Variety about filming the last episode: ‘It felt like we were ready for it to be the end, in a bittersweet way.’Adding: ‘But it wasn’t difficult. It was like finishing a marathon, like we did this really long run for seven years and we’ve played these characters a long time. It’s not like there was any unfinished business.’
